Crafts for the elementary aged children the last Thursday of each month at 4:00. Bring the children down and have them make something fun. There is no cost to for this activity at the library. Get the kids away from the electronics for a while. We’ll give them a good time!

Come join Molly at the Young Adult Book Club, for ages 12-18, on the last Saturday of the month. Molly will be picking age appropriate books for the group and will be having activities to go along with the books. Come and join in the discussions and read a good book as well. Molly has a seat for you at the table!

Registration is required. There are 4 half hour sessions: 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30. 20 children per session. No one under 5 years old per the Whalemobile policy.

The Whalemobile team takes children inside the belly of a whale to explore the captivating world of these majestic creatures while delving into vital environmental lessons.

  • Engage and Enlighten: Step inside our inflatable whale to discover the fascinating similarities and differences between whales and humans that highlight the uniqueness of these incredible marine beings.
  • Why Whales Matter: Dive deep into discussions about the crucial role whales play in our planet’s ecosystem. Understand their significance and impact on maintaining the health of our ocean and the planet.
  • Protecting Our Planet’s Giants: We empower students with knowledge about conservation efforts and the actionable steps they can take to safeguard these magnificent creatures and their habitats.

Monthly Board of Trustees meeting at 5:30 pm – third Tuesday of every month.

The meeting is in the library conference room in the basement of the library.

Public is welcome to attend. Public input is welcome.
