Save the date…Thursday, June 2 at 3:00 pm. Local author Barbara Linsley will be here to read from her newest book, “Travel with the Aunts.” “Have you noticed that when women reach a certain age, they no longer care what people think of what they say or do? Allison’s three great-aunts have reached that age.” “Travel with the Aunts is an on-the-road, rollicking novel filled with intrigue and adventures, personal discoveries and shared heartaches, shockingly funny incidents, and descriptions of a profoundly beautiful country: America. Mostly, it’s a story about coming home to the truth about yourself, and being fine with it.”
Barbara taught elementary school for thirty-three years in upstate New York. Her first two books were historical fiction, one, “Dreams on the Oregon Trail,” won the WILLA Literary Award.
Be sure to be here on June 2nd to see and hear Barbara. We’re sure you will be inspired.
